(Licensed MFT)

Individual, Marital
         and Group Therapy

I offer depth, quality, and experience at humane fees.

The practice is kept small, allowing intimate attention.

Professional life includes a long association with Jungian scholar & writer, Stephan Hoeller.

Meetings take place in the unique office/library of an old Hollywood era landmark.

background & approach

I began private practice in 1980, and my background includes experience as a psychiatric technician, social work supervisor, supervisor of MFT interns, and adjunct faculty for the Union Institute & University at Los Angeles.  The psychology of the artist was the focus of my Goddard College graduate work.  Creative hobbies have included singing jazz and writing theatre criticism.

My approach is primarily Jungian, but draws on many other sources, including cognitive therapy, Freud, and existentialist psychology.  The style is lively, non-dogmatic, and appreciative of the unique qualities of every personís inner life and of his or her circumstances.

I lecture on a variety of topics, and venues have included colleges, Bruchion Art Center, the Aerospace Company psychology club, Santa Monica library, non-profit groups, and private gatherings.  Call to inquire about current titles or to learn more about scheduled events.
